Using

Dilute 1:9 with water. Most effective when applied in the morning on warm, sunny days.

Brush areas vigorously with a stiff or special algae brush immediately beforeapplication. This will help break up the black algae colonies that have formed.  Brush again once each day for two days following application. Reapply treatment if necessary. Settled debris may be removed by  vacuuming.

Visible algae growth: Apply 6 oz (177 cc) of BLACK ALGAETRINE per 5,000 gallons (US) (19,000 litres) of pool water every 5 days.

Prevention: Once black algae has been brought under control, regrowth can be effectively prevented with 3 oz (88 cc) of BLACK ALGAETRINE per 5,000 gallons (US) (19,000 litres) of pool water every 7 days. or by regular use of AlgiKleer
