Using

Dilute 1:9 with water. Most effective when applied in the morning on warm, sunny days.

Brush areas vigorously with a stiff or special algae brush immediately before application. This will help break up the black algae colonies that have formed.  Brush again once each day for two days following application. Reapply treatment if necessary. Settled debris must be removed by  vacuuming, and a backwash and rinse of the filter.

DOSING

Visible algae growth: Apply 200 cc of BLACK ALGAETRINE per 20,000 litres of pool water every 5 days.

Prevention: Once black algae has been brought under control, regrowth can be effectively prevented with 90 cc of BLACK ALGAETRINE per 20,000 litres of pool water every 7 days.
