Ideal for for shocking pool with salt water chlorinators, or starting  a new pool  or a newly  filled pool.

Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (INN: sodium troclosene, troclosenum natricum or NaDCC or SDIC) is a chemical compound widely used as a cleansing agent and disinfectant.[1] It is a colorless, water-soluble solid. The dihydrate is also known (51580-86-0 ) as is the potassium salt (2244-21-5 ).

Dichlor has a high level of cyanuric acid, commonly known as a stabiliser . If your pool tends to have lower cyanuric acid levels, or none at all as in the case where salt water chlorinatords are used, dichlor could be a way to fix that while also shocking the water.

No Big Changes to Pool pH

Dichlor does not  significantly impact the pH of your pool water since it is nearly neutral. It will still give you a slight drop in pH since chlorine changes into acid when it reacts to water.
It is mainly used as a disinfectant, biocide and industrial deodorant. As a disinfectant, it is used to sterilize drinking water, swimming pools, tableware and air, and to fight against infectious diseases as a routine disinfection agent.
