Wire transfers, and why we do not accept them
Orders not paid within 48 hours are automatically cancelled. This is a standard online shopping condition. Overseas wire transfers can often take up to 5 days and fees are sometimes deducted by the receiving bank.
'Payment' in the context of our T&C is when the sum has been received in full by our bank. Orders are strictly processed when your payment in full has been booked to our bank account without any deductions.
Avoid delays: pay with a Thai bank account or PayPal, or by credit card through PayPal.
Wire transfer services are systems such as Wise, Western Union, Wells Fargo, MoneyGram, etc., and services by foreign banks (SWIFT,/BIC, IBAN).
Factors affecting the cost to you and us:
• Bank processing: Different banks have their own processing times and protocols.
The process of converting currencies adds time to the transfer.
• Time zones: Differences in time zones between the sending and receiving banks can cause delays. Our sales office only operates during our business hours.
• Intermediary banks: International transfers often go through multiple intermediary banks, each adding to the total time and additional fees.
• Holidays: Bank holidays in any of the countries involved (including the recipient's country) cause delays.
• Incorrect details: Errors in account numbers, SWIFT codes, or recipient names can cause rejection or lengthy delays for manual review. Getting you money back can be complex and is not our responsibility.
