In water purification, flocculant causes  impurities to coagulate which are removed as the particulate settles to the bottom of the pool to  be easily filtered. This process is called coagulation or flocculation. The particles can be vacuumed from  the pool floor.

NOTE: This product  is not a panacea for all causes of cloudy or dirty water. If your water regulary  becomes cloudy, green, or milky, then something else is wrong. Check  your  pH, Total Alkalinity, and Water Hardness. Consider a professional water analysis, or an examination of your filtration equipment by a pool professional followed by regular preventative maintenance.

Polyaluminium chlorides are synthetic polymers dissolved in water. They react to form insoluble aluminium poly-hydroxides which precipitate in big volumetric flocs.The flocs absorb suspended pollutants in the water which are precipitated with the PAC and can together be easily removed.

PAC can be used as a flocculant for all types of water treatment treatment, drinking water, industrial waste water, urban waste water and in the paper industry.

The possible slightly higher unit price of PAC is compensated by a

• lower dosage requirement
• no requirement for any neutralising agent (soda, lime)
• shorter flocculation time
• smaller amount of sludge
• reduced number of back washing steps
• higher quality of the treated water.

USING

Dosage for one trearment: 2kg per 100 cubic metres (100,000 litres) (2 lb per 10,000 gallons).

• Distribute over the pool surface and mix well. Leave overnight.
• Vacuum the pool  floor.
• Backwash  the filter after use.
• Contains ground Aluminium Sulphate
