Fllter tank bobbin-wound Fiberglass tank, pressure resistant 150PSI with Manual Valve head (Filtration - Backwash - Rinse), 1 inch threaded ports, complete equipment set: ball valves, unions, elbows, barrel unions.

Essential when topping up a swimming pool from well water. Designed for pre filtering incoming water supply for domestic and light commercial use. Undesired particles such  as rust, sand, dirt, and other suspended solids are trapped by the filter bed. Can be used with resin beads for hard water.

For sand, Zelbrite, or glass media, and can also be used with active charcoal, manganese greensand, and resin beads.

A Deep Bed Filter is designed for filtering incoming water supplies and well water for domestic and light commercial use. 

Undesired particles like rust, sand, dirt and other impurities found in water are trapped by the filter bed, offering crystal clear filtered water for domestic use, well water filtration, and swimming pool top-up.

Can be filled with sand, Zelbrite, glass media, active charcoal, resin beads

Typical full filtration set up

• Sand or Zelbrite are general filters for removing suspended particles

• Manganese Greensand removes iron and other metals

• Activated charcoal will remove most bacteria and other microscopic particles

• Resin removes the calcium from the limestone bedrock that causes serious limescale stains and build-up
