Dolphin M Series Robots for Thailand ship with with the foam brush for a better performance than the combined brush on tiled surfaces. The robot will not climb the wall if there is algae in the pool. The algae surface is too slippery and the robot will not get traction. The only things that will remove algae are chemicals, not the robot. Also, the robot may not climb the wall if the PH reading is not balanced.

The robot isn’t meant to remove stains and dirt between tiles. These build up over time due to poor maintenance.  The robot is meant to prevent stains and dirt from building up. The robot should be introduced into a clean pool and it will maintain that high level of cleanliness as the dirt is removed very regularly.

We recommend hand scrubbing the dirt out of the tiles as the robot with a foam brush or a combined brush will not remove the build up of dirt. The scrubbing capability isn’t strong enough  to remove stubborn stains in the grout.
